Kapalua's sunset

* Maui features two dormant volcanoes: the Haleakala, the largest dormant volcano on earth, and Puu Kukui, almost permanently covered with clouds. Between them lies a beautiful valley with pineapple and sugar canes fields. The best beaches are located on the west shore. Among the most popular are Ka'anapali, Kapalua and Napili.

About Me * Of all the places that I have travelled in the United States, Maui was by far the most spectacular. I went there in January of 1993 and again in March of 2005. Eventually, I will go back again. Until then, I have some beautiful pictures and memories to go with them. This is where I stayed in 1993. The condo was called Sugar Beach. It was pleasant when I stayed there. The things that I remember the most about Maui are: warm sand, crystal blue ocean, flowery scent, surprising squalls, and delicious food. Hmmm.... I'll never forget eating at the Hyatt Regency’s Swan Court Restaurant for the Sunday breakfast. If you ever get over there... you must treat yourself to this exquisite dining experience. It costs a few bucks but if romance is what you are seeking, you'll find it there. It's a real treat. Most of the pictures below are from my day of playing tourist in Ka'anapali.
